Living in the Region

Kjellberg Finsterwalde supports regional activities and regularly acknowledge voluntary commitment in sports and in child and youth work with donations for specific projects or in music. Finsterwalde is the only city in Germany which may call itself the City of Singers. This name is connected with a long tradition of singing and making music together and finds its climax in the Singing Festival. The membership in the Singing festival association and the promotion of initiatives of the music school are our contribution to the preservation of this tradition.
