Plasma power source Q 4500 available for delivery as of now

Most powerful model in Q-Series cuts up to 120 mm

With the Q 4500, Kjellberg Finsterwalde presented the most powerful plasma cutting system for digitalised production at EuroBLECH 2022. The latest member of the Q-Series is now available.

 

The first customers are already working successfully with the latest plasma system from Kjellberg. Further systems will be delivered and put into operation immediately.

 

The Q-Series combines precision plasma cutting with the complex requirements of Industry 4.0. With a cutting current range of up to 450 A, the Q 4500 offers precision plasma cutting at the highest level and enables the user to make precise plasma cuts up to 120 mm. High cutting speeds reduce costs and increase efficiency. Precise holes with a ratio of 0.75:1 (hole diameter:material thickness) are possible with Q-hole technology. Kjellberg's proven Contour Cut technology enables exact inner and outer contours when cutting mild steel. The Q 4500 continues the excellent cutting quality of the Q-Series and sets new standards for cutting mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium - even in thicker materials up to 120 mm.

 

The browser-based HMI Q-Desk developed by Kjellberg is available for use in digitalised production. Process data and information from all system components are visualised in real time on a smartphone, tablet or PC. The MQTT protocol is used to transfer and process the essential data. The integrated Kjellberg eService ensures reliability in production through remote diagnostics, remote monitoring and regular updates.
