In his function as managing director of the Kjellberg Finsterwalde Plasma und Maschinen GmbH, Volker Krink has during the past years significantly promoted the development division of Kjellberg Finsterwalde, a company with a long tradition and today one of the global market leaders in the area of plasma cutting. As of June 1, 2021, Volker Krink has been appointed chairman of the executive board of the Kjellberg Foundation, which is the one hundred percent shareholder of the Kjellberg-Holding.
Together with Dr. Jörg Eßmann and Falk Tzschichholz, Volker Krink previously formed the management of the Kjellberg Finsterwalde Plasma und Maschinen GmbH – the biggest company of the Kjellberg Finsterwalde group. With his move to the executive board of the Kjellberg Foundation, Dr. Michael Schnick, managing director of the Kjellberg-Holding, and Jens Friedel, head of development, jointly assume the responsibility for the development division. This is accompanied by a restructuring and reorientation of this division. „In times which are changing especially due to requirements for sustainability and digitisation, it is necessary to make the right strategic decisions“, say Volker Krink and Dr. Michael Schnick. „The requirements and the complexity of the tasks are becoming increasingly challenging. It is our goal to divide the responsibility among several shoulders and to develop our staff and our company in a sustainable manner. This way we want to be able to offer the users of our technique the highest benefit and be well prepared for the future.“
The entire group of companies wishes Volker Krink every success in his new position as chairman of the executive board of the Kjellberg Foundation and sincerely thanks him for his many years of commitment for the Kjellberg Finsterwalde Plasma und Maschinen GmbH.
