Kjellberg Staff celebrate their Company History

100 Years of Kjellberg in Finsterwalde

2022 is a very special year for our Kjellberg family. Exactly 100 years ago, on 4^th April 1922, the Kjellberg Elektro-Maschinen GmbH was established in Finsterwalde following a proposal made by Oscar Kjellberg.

 

On this occasion, the company management of Kjellberg surprised all staff members at their workplaces with individual birthday cakes along with personal words of thanks. We look back on our company history with pride, because much has happened in 100 years. In 1922, it all started with one production site where welding generators for Kjellberg electrodes were produced. Today, one century later, the same production site is a global player. Our products and technologies for plasma cutting, welding and mechanical engineering are used throughout the world. And all this is made in Germany. Made in Finsterwalde.

 

We celebrate this success together with long-standing customers, partners, and friends in many countries. On 25^th October 2022, the 100^th anniversary will be celebrated with customers and partners from the European region at the trade fair Euroblech in Hanover.

 

We have set ourselves challenging goals for the future in order to remain so successful. Our agenda include for example the challenges that are connected with digitisation. Motivated and committed employees, an excellent cooperation with partners and customers and satisfactory manufacturing and delivery capabilities for customers are the success factors which have made us the company we are today: a company of tradition and innovation.
